This is downtown Pauls Valley about 10 minutes before a good soaking rain started. This is the first time I have tried a shot of my little city and I hope you enjoy it.
Colorful shot BTK and it looks great against the Sooner Sky. I like all the red. Looks like your small town is still hanging in there. Glad to see it. Great vantage point you chose.
Wow, the colors are amazing and your shot so cool Billy!!! Your city is about as big as a close by town to me. Actually only 20 minutes away. Almost looks identical!...lol...A very quaint and cute city and capture!!!
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
Hello Billy...Your positioning for this shot has helped you to achieve a well-composed and colourful image....The dark and wonderful sky has helped to enhance the wonderful colours of the buildings....I also like how you have used the clock as your foreground element....Well done....All the very best to you Billy...Mick.

Hi Billy. Your picture made me an instant fan of Pauls Valley, thus sending me off to Google to learn more about your town. You life in a wonderful place with a rich heritage. Your picture is excellent, by the way! lol. ~~ John
Billy - Like John, I read of the interesting history of your hometown. The brick streets add much color to the street scene. The nearby clock gives the scene its proper perspective looking down the main street. Now, get in the theater and stay dry, as that is one ominous cloud overhead. Thad
You have inspired me. If I EVER finish rebuilding my computer and THEN either fix or replace my beloved D80...I'm heading out to the clock tower that is a short walk from my house hoping to beat the rain and catch some of those lovely rays that will be to my left at sundown. :)
It's a beauty of a shot, Billy. There's so much going on that I'm not sure what to admire most. The sky is divine and makes me realize that I never want to stand next to you when the lightning bolts are being flung by Zeus. The guy who painted the building on the right must have lucked out on a weird paint sale at Home Depot. Very few building are that red. The town clock is perfectly placed in your shot of Main Street, USA.
Faves for me on many levels...colors, composition, post photo editing, clarity and charm.
