Hello Winona...wow, this is lovely! Very soft and tranquil. What's the name of the mountain in the distance? I love how you got the reflection of the sky in the water. It all looks cold, yet it looks warm. I will enjoy keeping this one. Verena

The truth is, you really should see My Gallery.
Winona, although you've posted some wonderful images before, think this one is the best up till now. Great and moody post. Very well done! Hope I will get this one in the VB.
Regards, Cornelius.
Edit: got this in the VB and valuated it in accordance with my comment above.
This Image GRABBED my EYE. That's Why I Stopped By.

Doesn't look too warm to me!! But it does look like a magical scene. I like the widescreen format and you did an awesome job capturing the details in the shadows. Of course, the sun peaking over the mountains adds the final touch. Very nicely done!!
It could be a photo taken millions years ago (except the houses on the left). Some photo from the era that saw the end of dinosaurs. Look at that volcano that doesn't erupt any more. Look at that cold river that cut the snowy land. Feel the icy wind. There is no life here anymore. But the Sun is going up. It will bring life back to this valley. One day, one fine day for sure.
