How I love venice it is so romantiek overthere at least so they tell me lol love this one a lot with the colors of the houses and the trees in the left and especially the depth that is in the picture great picture Chris

laughter is the best medicine
I long to get into one of the boats and travel along the river-roads of Venice. I've been around the world but missed Italy and Greece so they are still on my wish list. Thanks for keeping me temped Chris. Wonderfully presented post.

I like this, Chris. Most photos in Venice show the narrow, dark canals but this is bright and you captured a great amount of detail in here. If you could clone out that ledge in the foreground, it would bump it up a notch. Very nice work! - Patty

It's all about perspective and perception.
An interesting post Chris of a city I know very well. I'm in Venice once a week for meetings and I'm always amazed how every you look, there is a photo opportunity. It looks like you were off the beaten path as there are no tourist in your image. Advice...bring a pair of wading boots for high tide! Bravo!
