One has to see the link to know that the building is actually so white with that gold ball on top. It's a wonderful capture Chris and the presentation is stunning. Very interesting and glad you shared it. Great work.
Please know that I enjoy your work even though I don't always get to comment. I try to look at (and enjoy) all your new posts and always appreciate the time you take to stop in at my gallery as well. Have a happy day ;) Anita
to be honest Chris I like it in daylight better (have bin on the link that you have given us) because the golden ball has a better contrast against the white of the building:)) but that is just me:)) lol

Chris, Thanks to you (for the beautiful image ) and Wikipedia (for the detailed information about the 'Secession'). I'll have to find out whether this combination is possible for my 'Middelburg' pictures or not. I don't think so as Middelburg is a tiny spot in comparison with Vienna. Regards, Cornelius.
I appreciated your link as well, Chris. This is a very unusual building, not to state the obvious, but just as ornate as any of the other architectural greats you've sent.
Wonderfull shot, very sharp, great color, and a good border. a 10/10 for sure.
Gustav Klimt, has a good veriaty in his program, not all nice, but some of his forrest
paintings i realy like. I have one of his forrest images framed in my bedroom.

What a unique building. Thanks for the info and the link - very interesting. Magnificent ornate architecture - the golden ball has a lovely glow & ornate gold leaves. A fantastic work of art. Perfect on the pitch black background and the border is a fine match for this image mirroring similiar colours. This c-index should be WAY HIGHER! Excellent job Chris :*))
