What a stunner Chris. Not only does the flower jump off the DT with it's gorgeous purple color and clarity but the little butterfly has excellent clarity as well and I quite like the frame you've added. Very well done. Thanks for sharing this one.
You my Caedes friends post the most wonderful images out here. Full of beauty, life and gorgeous colors. For that, you have my heartfelt 'thanks'. I love 'browsing them'.
I think you have been taking lessons from Hans Chris! ;) lovely presentation and I really like the richness of colour of the flower ..........oh and yes perfect capture of the butterfly - I can see even his little hairs on his back!

Hi Chris..I have to say I really love this photo, the colours, the gentle feeling of the butterfly upon the flower and then those gorgeous dew drops...its all just perfect, except for one thing...I really think the colour of the bottom of the framing distracts me. I feel the butterfly should have that colours all to itself..other than if you used a black frame with a very thin fine line of that colour within the black. My eyes wants to go straight to the butterfly, but I see the bottom of the frame more...Hope I helped and not harmed.Hold your hand over the bottom part, and see if you might not get the same feeling....thanx for a great shot for my files..Verena
A sensational piece of work I should say! The clarity is fantastic and the butterfly looks so great on the little vinca flower. He had to be really teentsy! That's some macro lens you have there.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.
