Think they aren't that nervous Chris, but just very wachfull. Think they had some fear, not for the man itself but more for the camera. Wonderful image!

This reminds me of a thought I've had in the past, and that is that I wish that guns and camera didn't look so much alike..there. That felt better to get that out!!
Great shot of this family grouping and it tells a tale: while the adults are ever watchful the youngsters are hightailing it for safer digs. The trust factor is high here. Would that humans were so watch and protective of their young.
