One shot from a stroll taken last summer (man was it hot then!).
Taken with my 300mm zoom from at least 1.5 metres distance.
Thanks to all who view and comment ;o)

The plant could be mistaken for a shot in icy weather .. which I thought it was at first!! .. terrific clarity shot my friend!

Great shot here Chris! It does look icy at first. So clear as Bob has said. Excellent image. ♥ Sandi♥

Great close up! I too thought at first it was a winter shot but upon looking closer I noticed that it wasn't snow...
Love the background too.

Two possibilities Chris, you have either a vibration reduction facility in your telelens or you have used a tripod. In the last case it's still more amazing than it allready is, as it's relative time consuming to make such an image. Wonderful result. Think you've instructed the bee not to fly away, lol.

Looks great, Chris. I just love my 300mm lens too. It's amazing what you can find!

I love the simplicity of this shot, the green on green and the backlighting. Very nice.
