Same view as #1, but some meters up and back with more castle to frame the view.
Personally I like this one more ;o)
Thanks to all who view and comment!

Very nice angle on this image. It gives us the feeling of the view off in the distance very nicely. Love the sky in this also. It's a well done image chris in all aspects.

Thanks for the new desktop.. I personally like this one better myself. The view is great, but the Castle is what holds the ground.

Chris, believe me, it's always hard to make a proper choice between two good images as they have their own charm each. Your images are no exception to this rule. So, I don't make a choice as both are real fine to me!

I sat and pondered this photo for the longest time. There is so much to take in..to devour, gently. The stone wall and those shadows was actually the first thing I enjoyed. It felt warm and peaceful. Then my eye wandered to the greenery and that led right up to the darker mountains and then that soft blue sky with the clouds just barely stroken the tops. This is just a most lovely photo..I've truly enjoyed it. Verena

Any chance to do any 1600 X 1200 ones to fit my screen proper?

Thanks!
