While riding up the mountain opposite the 'Wilder Kaiser' (Fierce Emperor) we saw this tandem gliding couple ;o)

i bet its an amazing view if you can deal with heights and flying on that thing, you wouldnt get me up there on that if my life depended on it, and you would have to be watching out for something larger than seagull poo down below hhehehehe.

i have done this in holland 2 times. since we do not have mountains, you will be pulled up by a wire, not higher than a 400-500 meters, depending on weight and wind.
It gave me a great view over the Rhine river. the purpose of doing this sport in a country without mountains is to practice your skills wich come in use when you go to the alps. I have thought about taking lessons in this, and getting my own shute.
But it never came to it. I might take such a ride this year in Switzerland. The only problem with a duo jump is that upgoing warm currents are not strong enough to lift you, so the jump will be short, as when alone it can take up to 16 hours when you are in luck. How is the holliday coming along, enjoying yourself a bit ?
