Ok, normally i don't like portrait format shots, but this time i thought i'd give it a try ;o)
Hans (NL) showed me this spot, and maybe it will do well in the contest. Thanks to all who view and comment!
Very dramatic shot, Chris. The sky is awe-inspiring, yet, it's not my favorite part of the shot. I find myself drawn to the small creek on the lower left, and it's man-made counterpart on the lower right. the draw for me is the texture and reflections in the water of both. Nicely, nicely done and the best of luck to you in the contest.
Please, even if you don't visit my gallery, check out my "Faves".I've left them intact since day "1", and would like it if every image there got the attention they deserved.
Nice work Chris - I particularly like the out of frame feature of the curving road. A dramatic scene, lots of curves and well composed with the meandering stream.
Good Luck in the contest.
