I live in Wallasey which is the town at the northern tip of The Wirral Peninsular opposite Liverpool in North-west England. The name Wallasey means 'The Island of The Welsh' and it was a Celtic stronghold in pre-Roman times. It isn't actually an island but is surrounded on three sides with water and by a marsh on the fourth whilst it sits high and dry. This is a shot taken from my garden just as the sun is about to set. EDIT: I now realise I lied above. This shot was taken from my spare-bedroom window ,not the garden!
