These two chimps at Chester Zoo reminded me of Statler and Waldorf from The Muppet Show years ago. They just look like two 'Grumpy Old Men' sitting there complaining that nothing is as good now as it used to be. You know the conversation, "These young chimps to-day, don't know they're born etc."

You're right...that's exactly what they look like. I wonder sometimes if Henson didn't get some of his inspiration at a zoo, but wait..no, he had people for that..lol..

My hubbie just looked at this and laughed saying it was him and his best mate Dave lol. And the funny thing is he is right :)) What a fantastic shot this is Steve, you totally caught the nature of these two guys.
