Actually, it is The Wallasey Waterworks Tower. It is one of the major landmarks of New Brighton.If you look at my image of New Brighton and The Marine Lake you will see it, looking a bit like a castle tower, on the skyline.

Now thats an extremely pretty waterworks tower! The water works we have by us is such an ugly building that even the water company planted huge trees around it so you cant see it. This looks more like a folly than a working building. I can just imagine the amount of steps going up that thin tower on the side. A very nice building indeed.

This is absolutely lovely! In them days they knew how to build something like that. It's some very interesting architecture.

I like this Steve, the light's very good. I even wonder what a 'bobonised' version by Owd Bob Dunstickin might look like, I reckon this is a good candidate. One question though, are those satellite dishes in the windows at the top?!
