New Brighton looking across to the mouth of The River Mersey at 2.00pm 26th Feb 2008. The wind was topping 50mph (80kph), the sun was shining and there was blue sky. Very strange weather indeed.

Now to me thats the sea at its best. I love watching the waves pound up like this, so long as caution is observed of course. Excellent shot and going right into my faves.

I just hate dirty cutlery !! A mistreated dog should try to leave a deposit on their masters best carpet, after all it's important to establish who's boss ... My gallery is here.

There is a tiny town in ORegon at the Pacific Ocean called
Depoe Bay and I've seen water come over the railing just like this..it's quite a shocker I think...but you sure got a great shot of this drama..Verena

Wow that really is stormy! Maybe it was a precursor for the earthquake last night. You risked getting drenched for this one, and it was certainly worth it!

Spectacular capture Steve. I really like these stormy shots, and like the patterns created in the rough sea. With the crash of the wave and the wall to the right of the picture this will make a great DT.
