This is a member of our YouTube generation. He was waiting to get soaked whilst his mate, who was standing next to me, was filming on his phone. Only, every time a wave came he backed-off and didn't really get wet at all! This was taken at New Brighton ,Merseyside.

You captured the storm quiet well, look at the movement in the water !
Am glad he did not get wet, a incoming wave could have swept him of his feet.
He would not have lasted long with these tempretures, or his head could be smashed against the brick wall. But when young , you think you can handle everything :-)
Good image.

Its amazing what these kids will do to get a video clip, they just dont think of the dangers. I am glad he chickened out each time. That water is really wild, and you really captured it well. I can almost hear the roaring and crashing of those monsters. An excellent capture of the sea at its best. I love it. Going right into my faves.

Hi Steve, I use YOU TUBE quite a bit, and I'm nearly 36!!! So am I in THEIR generation too??? hmmm...or perhaps I'm just an in between...neither here or there!!! lol

Anyway, the picture. Love the way you've captured the waves again here, I can feel the energy coming from them. I'm rather enjoying these stormy pics of yours, we don't get rough seas like that down here in the south. I like the way you've got the kid in the picture too, giving it perspective.

That's funny, I'm so glad I'm not part of the YouTube generation. You really do get some wild seas up there Steve, this one's incredible.

I'm not sure how I missed this one. Man, that's a lot of wave action, again. It almost looks like a small hurricane or something. Very nice, Steve.

Super stormy picture, it looks wild and wet, and the young man probably isn't aware of how powerful those waves can be.

This young un hasn't grown a backbone yet Steve. ;o) Seems we've been sharing the same weather lately which is a bit odd !! Great to see the "sunshine amongst the storm" that could be a great title. :o)

I just hate dirty cutlery !! A mistreated dog should try to leave a deposit on their masters best carpet, after all it's important to establish who's boss ... My gallery is here.

Wow - that fury the sea is showing is amazing! The young fellow doesn't seem to realize how easily he could be swept away. Excellent powerful view - large waves always fascinate me. As a desktop view this is a bit frightening, but this is a super shot Steve!
