This picture is the yin to Anticipation's yang. This is the other lad, phone in hand, of the terrible duo trying to film themselves getting wet in the recent storm on the front at New Brighton, Merseyside. As with the lad in "Anticipation" this one chickened out and hardly got his feet wet!

To tell you the truth, I would rather see this awesome shot of the wave without the kid in the picture. He is kinda distracting. Other than that, it's a humdinger.

This is one step away from being a great photo Steve. I think Jim's right it would be better without the kid. But the light, the sea, the waves, the colours on the railings are all brilliant. The one step is probably the angle of the railings - a more acute angle against the frame would have given a terrific composition. But like I say it's one step, your eye has spotted that all the elements were contained in this shot.

I just hate dirty cutlery !! A mistreated dog should try to leave a deposit on their masters best carpet, after all it's important to establish who's boss ... My gallery is here.

He must have moved real fast to avoid that monster wave crashing in! Great wave action again, with or without the boy!

Do not wait; the time will never be "just right."Start where you are and work with whatever tools you may have at your command, and better tools will be found as you go along.
