This picture was taken at about 2.30pm on 12th March 2008. There had been a severe gales blowing for over 15 hours and the wind-speed had dropped to 56mph (90kph). This ship had just entered The River Mersey and relative calm!

Oh yeah, this is calm, LOL! I enjoy seeing the action of the water vs "milkshake (read long exposure) water." A good comp and cool shot, Steve!

Why do the pictures come out square when the lens is round?? Picture Purrrfect .
