The Two Towers

Here we have the two towers that guard the mouth of The River Mersey and the Port of Liverpool. The far tower is the old Crosby radar tower, which is due to be replaced with a 50m (160ft) public observation tower in the next few years. The near tower is,of course, The Perch Rock Lighthouse. This picture was taken on 12th March 2008 during the storms that were hitting Britain.

Doesn't the wind ever die down there? I'm surprised the lighthouse is still standing. LOL. Another very nice shot.
