This is my first picture taken in RAW format. It's just an experiment. You will notice that we've removed the centre part of the flower. This is to prevent the production of pollen because we have a cat. Lilies are extremely POISONOUS TO CATS!

So your experimenting with RAW hey, well I'm sticking with jpgs myself it's so much easier, & I don't get many complaints on my work :o). I didn't realise Lilies are poisonous to cats.

Welcome to the world of RAW Steve. Looks like you've got the hang of it very quickly because there's nothing to fault on the image quality here. Just out of interest, did you sharpen it and what format did you upload it in? I generally have to sharpen quite a lot. The colours on this have come out just great, the pinks are lovely and warm and the yellow sets them off really well. I'm saying nothing about the pollen - did I tell you I'm very very allergic to cats ;-)
