These are some pretty, wet flowers that I photographed today during a lacuna in today's rain. They are in a small planter that our next-door neighbours have placed on the low wall by our front doors.

Steve, my wife says to turn this image into a greeting card and she'll buy a box of them! :) Beautiful, delicate and light, thanks for the post!

I really like all the different colors in this shot, Steve. Flowers always seem to look great when they are wet.

These seem like spring flower colors to me. I love their delicate, pastel appeal.

I am with Mike on the greeting cards Steve. Save a box for me as well. Would go well with any occasion. Nice colors and I like the softness of the whole shot.

I always have to ask what they are. The shape makes me think of snapdragons but they're too small.... and they can't be sweet peas if they're low-growing. Nice shot though, I think I'd like a bit more DOF to get the focus more evenly spread but the shapes and colours are very nice and the water drops are a lovely touch.

Gorgeous colours. Just delicious :)

I think they look like little pansies or violas.

Smashing colorings!! A wee tight on the DOF as it comes across a wee soft in the details, but, still a striking shot!!

Why do the pictures come out square when the lens is round??

Lyneve's named it, I think -- violas!
