This is a German ship taking part in The Parade of Sail of Tall Ships last Monday 21st July on The River Mersey. I admire the nerve of the young sailors up in the rigging. I couldn't do it, could you?
Thanks for this great post as well my friend. Very well done!
Regards, Cornelius.
PS: It's the bark 'Alexander von Humbolt', built in 1906, length 62.6 metres, width 8.0 metres, with 1.010 square metres sail (24 sails) and coming from the German homeport Bremerhaven.

So colourful - very nice and I also like the inclusion of the Cathedral in the background, its a fine building.
Those sailors up the masts - very brave methinks.
