Of course the Dame in question is Mrs Braces and the snake is a beautiful Royal Python that was one of the wonderful snakes we could handle at a great talk on snake keeping we went to two nights ago.

Why do the pictures come out square when the lens is round??
Snake keeping? What...are you nuts? They can't fetch the newspaper or anything like that. LOL. Nice Amphibious in the handious shot.

Well Delia's braver than me that's all I can say. Actually this thing is quite beautiful isn't it. And not so big either. Love the black background here Steve, I guess it's from the flash but it isolates the snake really nicely.
