Giant apple and pear sculpture on sale at the recent Royal Horticultural society Flower Show at Tatton Park in Cheshire, north-west England.

Why The Giant's Stairs? Apples and pears = stairs in Cockney Rhyming Slang.

What fun it would be to paint the fruit! lol I thought they were huge because of your perspective, but they are genuinely huge you say. I'd like to see what else they have for sale. The offerings are mighty interesting. Nice clear image.

I like these - and very well taken.
Well timed too as just about to climb the apples and pears (metaphorically speaking as we have none)and hit the scratcher and me minces have been visited my the sandman .
Wondering what these are sculpted from? Stalks look like wood so maybe that is what they are. I like the cat as well.

Not so sure about this Steve, they're interesting shapes but as an image it's not quite there for me. They do look huge though - they must make quite a sight!
