This was the view that confronted Mrs Braces and me about 300 yds from our house on Wednesday evening (3rd Sept 2008). We both thought it looked like a rainbow comet had hit the main Wallasey Library. Luckily we had my trusty Fuji F31fd in the car and so could take some pictures straight away. The colours here have not been adjusted. This is what it was like.

That's a great capture. You really have to have great timing just to see one of those. Wonderful shot.

Outstanding Steve. Love rainbows and this is about the finest one I have seen. The light casting on the buildings is so neat looking. Always good to have a camera with you. It sure did pay off here. sandi♥

I know you like music Steve and this one looks like it is dancing in the sky. There is only one song for this and here it is. Great post.

The man who fell to earth! Or even the multi-coloured man who fell to earth! One of those right place at the right time pics Steve. I must get a compact to keep handy, I always miss this type of spur of the moment shot.

Great colour in this one Steve, saw this one after the other rainbow picture. Think this is slightly better too.

I'm always packing. You just never know.

Great capture, and that song that Tick sent along happens to bring tears to my eyes every time I hear it.

So, now that your library is situated right at the site of the pot o' gold, I'm sure they no longer come 'round for donations!
