This is one of the sculptures in The Roman Garden at Chester Zoo in North-West England. The garden was created in the year 2000 to mark the Millennium and to recognise Chester's Ancient Roman roots.

Looks like a Knight on a chess board - I like the idea of the tribute to the Romans. There's lots of detail on this, it's a nice clear shot.

Well done, the bit of greenery and the background set off the elements of this sculture very well. Roman horse sculptures are always so full of energy and so realistic...it almost gives one a path into what may have been the general Roman mind-set.
