It is 3:00pm 23rd October 2008. The wind has just topped 52mph (83kph). It is raining and it's chilly, so here's another storm photograph! This is , of course, The Perch Rock Lighthouse, New Brighton, at the mouth of The River Mersey.

I really love color photos that look like b/w. This is one of those. Such a powerful scene. The lighthouse must be a Timex.

This is so awesome!! The amount of life and drama that this photo shows is just amazing. I can feel the wind, the cold, the spray of the water, the skies. It's one of the finest photos I've seen of a lighthouse and the sea!!! Also the top of the lighthouse is amazing. Not only the weather vane up there, but the railing, if one thinx about it, then we would realize if a person were there walking, we could for sure see just how large this whole thing is. I live near the ORegon Coast and have seen many lighthouse photos, but yours is the
