I seem to be revelling in the misery of cold, rainy, stormy weather at the moment, so here's yet another storm image of the Irish Sea off The New Brighton Promenade, Merseyside taken earlier this week.

As our weather is "going to Hell in a handcart" here's some hellish music. It is the 5th movement of Berlioz Symphonie Fantastique or The Witches Sabbath.

The unique color of the water really adds to the stormy atmosphere. These are some wicked waves. it may not be the crystal clear blue water that we often see but this has it's own beauty. Keep-pah.

Watching this image one should realise that the sea is very powerful as tons of sand are moved by this wave. When one is sailing in a small saiboat and is hit by such a wave, think the only possibilty that remains is saying quickly a prayer.
Very good image again Steve.

It seems the sea is reclaiming the land, one grain at a time. That is what this photo and C's narrative make me think.

Great shot Caruso.

Another good shot of the furious sea. I think you will have a lot of opportunities to get still worse sea conditions (with a line tied around the hips). After all it is only October!

Right into my fav's Steve. Hugh wave and I love watching waves. There are 2 big wind mills out in the water, how many are there? We have 126 big wind mills here outside my city.
