Taken yesterday (1st March) at 4:00pm. It was a sunny but chilly day and there were many people strolling about. This is The Perch Rock Lighthouse , New Brighton at the mouth of The River Mersey.
Let me take you back to 5th April 1968, the day this record was released.

Nice to see the calm waters for a change, Steve. The sky looks fabulous and so does the water and the lighthouse looks as if it has been freshly painted. Great shot!

If practice makes perfect and nobody is perfect, then why practice?
I've seen that lighthouse many times before but from the seaside and therefore never that close.

Excellent shot of your Lighthouse Caruso. The sky is so blue and it looks warm in spite of the chilly air. I find it nice to think C has seen it many times from the other side. What a great site we have. Good post and the song was livening.

Excellent shop Steve! ...the focus is spot on - I can see every detail. I am thinking maybe just a little bit more ground at the bottom of the shot would give it more balance, but I still like it enough to fave!

The only song I remember by Small Faces is "Itchychoo Park." I still have the 45rpm. I love this bright sunshine shot of Perch Rock LH. Excellent, Steve.
