This strange looking flower is a Yucca flower. We've had Yucca plants for years but none has ever flowered before. It is a strange looking flower that opens at night and has an amazing scent.

Thank you in advance for any comments. They are all greatly appreciated.

Steve, we had first a F² (Foofy Friday), as far as I know founded by Mark (Sasraku). It was followed (think it was Tick's suggestion) by a W² (Weird Wednesday), and now you're mixing it to WF². Think the next step will be a FW², lol.
Let me stop kidding and be serious now: like your post very much, as we don't see a blooming Yucca that much. Very fine post mate!
Regards, Cornelius.

Your WF² is really good Caruso. Actually I think it was Frogz who came up with W². I like how it wraps around the stem. Almost like a lei. I think your mixture of days was perfect.

Wow, love this posting Steve, never have seen this plant before. I'll have to google it and learn more about this really neat looking plant. Really like the textures and colours of your WFF capture.

That's a gorgeous foofy! The greens seem so gossy and bright and I like the diagonal line of the foofy flowers. Way neat!

Beautiful shot of the strange flower Steve. I once had a similar one on board in my cabin. I had got it in Brazil. The scent was very strong at sunset.
