This is a Great Tit and not, as is most common round here, a Blue Tit. I photographed it in Royden Park on Wirral, Merseyside.

A Great Tit? Hmmm, if you say so... Actually I'm reminded (off the subject) that the Grand Teton mountain range out west in Wyoming must have been named by a French mountain man who had been in the wilderness a little too long... But I digress. This is a pretty little bird, it almost resembles a chickadee.

The brightly coloured blurred background really adds to this shot I think, filling it full of energy.
