A mystery spring flower in someone's front garden. This picture was taken yesterday afternoon after a rain shower but neither Mrs b or I (as if I would know!) know what it is. Any ideas?

Tickformation Nikon D60; 200mm; 1/200 @ F5.6; ISO 400.

It is a very nice flower photo,the red color is really good,the green leaves look very good as well as the green background.I do not know what kind of flower it is,i asked my mother but she does not know either.

I don't know either Caruso, but it is definitely something to sing about. Clarity is topnotch. Colors are just above that. Great post.
