A shot of part of "Another Place" by Anthony Gormley on Crosby Beach. This is the beach you see in the distance when I show pictures of Perch Rock Lighthouse.

Well, sure looks they are really stuck where they are, lol. OK, so what are they suppose to be looking at? I know the links said they were looking out at the sea, but where exactually & so many of them over 2 miles?

Really a cool capture Steve & thanks for the links

They are statues placed there for navigational purposes. When the two on the right are in transit you alter course 30 degrees to port to continue through the channel - LOL! Nice image Steve!

Thought you were talking about me in your title Steve, LOL!

Was smiling about the comment of my former colleague Raj as well. Hope noboby will take his comment serious, as one might suppose that in former days less capable captains have sailed the oceans.
Agree however with Raj that's a fine image!

Regards, Cornelius.

Ha ha, at Mr C's comment. 'Iron lady at the seaside' would be myself. But this is not a lady ...
Anyway I do remember watching it and admiring before, dear Steve.
10/10 of course.

I just commented on Raj's "Just Jump In," post and then Mark's post "A Big Brown One," was next. I suspect either one would work for a title here Caruso.

What you have here is a picture of the outfield players on a baseball team. You have your left fielder, center fielder and right fielder. I hope that clears everything up.

Good post and information.

The one on the left is Bob after eating too many sarnies. He sunk. That is one weird post.

I like the pano format here Steve and the muted greys and browns work very well. Love how the rust colour of the statues makes them look like they're emerging from the sand.
