I love red poppies. They look so delicate, as if they 're made of red crêpe-paper but they are so bright and stand out so well. This particular beauty was in the Walled garden at Royden Park, Wirral.

That must be a David Ortiz foofy. (Being that you are in England, you would not understand that comment. Here in the U.S. of A, there is a baseball star by that name, with the nickname "Big Poppy." I made the comment for absolutely no reason whatsoever.) LOL. You have a gorgeous shot here, with fabulous color, fabulous clarity, and a fabulous background. That would make this a fabulous foofy shot.

A beautiful shot here U Steve. When I was little my Mum used to say to look out for the poppies coz when I saw a poppy it meant it was almost my birthday, so they always cheer me up lol.
