Mrs b and I have just spent a few days in the wonderful little village of Orford on the coast of Suffolk (on the eastern coast of England). The village and the surrounding countryside are dominated by the magnificent Orford Castle built by King Henry II in the 1160's. This was the view from our hotel bedroom window.

The blood red sky, the dark castle... you know there are stories here. I think the contrast of the solid black and the varied red background really makes this picture work.

What a nice view from your room Count B. Your county has so much to see and such history. Thanks for sharing. The glow of the sky as a backdrop for the silhouette is perfect.
