Aldeburgh is a wonderful, quiet seaside town on the Suffolk coast on the east coast of England. The shingle beach stretches for miles.

The composition is perfect!! I really like this one Mr.B. The comp. and the flatness of the area are really eye catching.

Boy is it ever deserted beach, that's the time to go for a fabulous long walk along the waters edge. Beautiful beach homes and like all the texture the pebbles create.

A great angle on this one Caruso. It really highlights the texture of the sand very well. I like the boats just waiting for some water. Good DOF.

Beautiful work on this great post, Steve. It looks like you got low for the shot. I like that. Nice angle on the buildings, and I really like the old boats, and the sky. Nice going.

What do you mean by "shingles beach" rocks? stones? what? It's interesting, but would be hard to walk on, right? Or I suppose it could be sort of a massage effect on those old barefeet??
What an interesting beach, I'd love to know more about it. Nice photo..so spacious...love the feeling of the abandoned boats. V

Good people are good because they've come to wisdom through failure. We get very little wisdom from success, you know.
