Many of the lovely old cottages in Orford, Suffolk on the east coast of England have these wonderful, tall and very ornate chimneys. This picture was taken from the balcony outside our hotel bedroom.

I'm afraid I wouldn't make a good chimney sweep. I would most likely get stuck. A little thick in the middle. Me, not the chimney. The pigeon seems to like it. I like the colors and textures too Caruso. Have a good weekend.

This looks a very nice ornate chimney. I love these sorts of finds in old architecture. They dont seem to put the same thought and interest in architecture today as much. So these are like treasure finds when one comes across them. Love this shot of that pigeon on top. Well done!

Marvelous capture Steve and I've never seen a chimney that looks like that before. Great textures & the pigeon sure looks like he's eyeing the inside.

Unusual and interesting. Good capture, Steve - I like the "decoration" right on top.
