Here is another picture of Prestbury, the village in Cheshire , where I grew up. These are some of the shops and one of the pubs. The Legh (pronounced Lee) Arms is the white building to the left. It received its licence in 1203, although this is a early 1600's building.

I presume this was taken before you entered the "Leigh Arms" because of the very good clarity and composition :0) A fine scene from your village, Steve.

I love the architecture and the plant life growing on the buildings. Nice angle and great colors in this Steve. Very nice scene.

Raj's comment made me smile Steve. Think the 'Leigh Arms' is an ideal place for light drinks and heavy talks or is it heavy drinks and light talks, lol.
Very fine post again.

So its off to the butcher's for a choice cut of meat, then to the restaurant to cook it and finally the tavern for a relaxing drink and banter.
A lovely scene nicely presented. The flowers add a nice splash of colour.
