This is The Norman Chapel in the grounds of St Peters Church Prestbury, Cheshire. This is the third church built on this site and was constructed in the mid-1100's. It served as the Parish Church for the huge parish of Prestbury.

Another ancient place of worship well captured Steve. Prestbury seems to have a lot of ancient history.

Was in the time I wasn't born yet Steve, lol. Amazing that this almost 900 years old church seems to be in a very good condition. Very fine post mate!

It's pretty old, but not in ruins, like many of the shots I have seen from over there. Great shot, Steve.

This is a beautiful old building with masses of history behind it. We don't have anything over here in North America to rival the buildings of so long ago and it's a nice treat for us to see this.

Your Parish Churches are so quaint and inviting Caruso. No wonder they last for centuries. Good angle to show the great texture of this fine church. Good post.
