East Suffolk is full of Sweet Chestnut trees. These chestnuts are edible as opposed to Horse Chestnuts (or conkers) which are not.

These are very interesting. I have not seen these before. They look cactus-like. Very good shot, lots of nice greens. Looks great on the desktop.

I love sweet chestnuts but for some reason I only like them raw, not roasted. Dont think I am going to be eating any this year though, so will keep this picture so that I can dream lol.
