Today (Sunday 8th November 2009) is Remembrance Sunday in the UK. This is the War memorial in the small Suffolk village of Orford which shows that every place, no matter how small, has suffered losses due to war at some time.

I watched on TV the queen placing a wreath today. Here, tomorrow is the 20th year celebration of the fall of the Berlin Wall. The day of the start of the breakdown of Communist dictatorship everywhere else in Europe.

Veteran's Day is November 11th in my part of the world Caruso.

A wonderful tribute and the photo is perfect.
