There have been no swans to photograph down on The Model Boating Lake on the New Brighton Promenade for the past 7 or 8 months because the whole Promenade has become one giant building site as the new Waterfront Plan is put into operation.

The old lake was removed and a new one has been put in its place and the swans have now returned.
