People fishing on a slip-way into the sea on The Promenade in "Glorious" New Brighton. In the distance you can see The Perch Rock Lighthouse and Fort Perch Rock. You are looking across the mouth of The River Mersey and in the far distance are the Liverpool and Bootle Docks.

I think piers and harbors are a favorite place for all sea fishermen!...

Looks like a great place to spend the day, Caruso.
Relaxing at its finest.

Brings back memories for me Steve. We always discharged in Liverpool and loaded in Birkenhead. Also my wife and I had friends in New Brighton (long gone). Beautiful sunlit scene.

Bootle where the bugs wear clogs!

Very well composed Steve and nice to see the water looking so blue and fresh. They look very comfortable with their folding chairs. They may get a nice bit of cod for tea :)

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
