The new idea is to build generators deep down in the sea in concrete containers and they will run by the pressure of the water! The wind farms ruin the scenery but they are a necessary evil it seems.
There's a massive wind farm 70 miles west of where I live ... flatland area. Glad I live in the hills. :-)
This image shows how tall & massive these structures are. I didn't know they could be built in the sea or close to it, but I guess it makes sense. Looks great in B & W ... very well captured, Steve.
