A welcoming view of the waterfront. I can see why those that call Liverpool their home are proud of it. Beautiful buildings & the detail is so sharp. Excellent capture / presentation, Steve. I enjoyed the folk song too.

A lovely mixture of old and new buildings against a beautiful sky. The Liver building of course is the most prominent. Nice one Steve. For me, memories of taking the bus from Sandon docks to Pier Head :) I enjoyed the music and the photos .

This Scouser loves it - thanks for the memories and I also love that song, one of my faves.
Strange to think that St Nicholas Church was once the tallest building in the city and now it looks quite dwarfed.

Now excuse me, while I hunt out more tissues :)

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
