Well, according to the sun-dial it's 4.30pm so it's time for tea. This is the sun-dial on The Church of St John The Baptist (built 1150) which is next to Stokesay Castle.

Proper afternoon tea is a lovely experience and has a feeling of sophistication about it. If you ever get the chance to have afternoon tea, then take it.

Our over 60's club was invited to a 'posh' afternoon tea once!

all too 'la-de-da' for me..could'nt put my finger through those tiny cup holes..and the sarnies...well, They cut off the best piece!..the crust!

Give me a mug and a bacon butty anytime! .. ;)

You sure that the right time mate...my Timex says it is running slow! .. lol Good one!

I am a tea drinker myself Steve and my favourite brand is Twinings Earl Grey. As for scones or cakes Now-a-days I wouldn't indulge.

I super sot Steve - like it a lot !

As for afternoon tea - don't think I could wait till 4.30 - 3pm for me. Earl Grey please with a scone and Rhubarb and Ginger preserve, a chocolate macaroon and I don't mind if I have a glass of the Champagne on the menu as well !
A mug and a bacon buttie sounds good as well but it is nice to be posh sometimes lol

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Neat shot Caruso. I have trouble telling time on one of these.
I like the shadows which I guess is the whole point.
