...always a boat?

I'm not too sure about this one. As far as I can see, the newness is wearing off! This is the Mersey about a mile upstream from the mouth (and "Glorious" New Brighton) looking North-east towards Runcorn and Widnes. The industry you see top left across the river is Garston (these facts are mainly here for ex-pat Scousers like Lyn).

The boats bones are left for the sand crabs and the fish Caruso.
Good angle.

Yes, will always be a boat no matter where it's final resting place is. I wonder what stories they can tell. Excellent capture, Steve.

---Once A Boat, always a boat?---

I can, by own experience, confirm this Steve, so delete your question mark, lol.

Very moody image.

The tide is definitely out! The tones set the mood in this one, and there is a lot of interesting detail!

Nice panoramic view right across the Mersey river Steve. Once a boat not always a boat - later the boat becomes a wreck.

Marvelous composition and depth, really like the texture of the sea floor in the foreground. Now are those real big boats or toys, I kept studying it and couldn't make up my mind

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
