This is an image of part of the original "Glorious" New Brighton. It was built in the 1830's as a 'Desirable residential and watering place for gentry.' So that's Mrs b and me summed up perfectly - desirable gentry!
I love the typical style of these houses Steve. I've seen this or a similar kind of style along some coasts of England as well. But England has (or had?) a lot of gentry, lol

Looks very impressive. Desirable gentry should be very comfortable here. Its a fine clear photo. Not forgetting GNB's earlier history involving smuggling :) :)
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
I might consider buying the one with the red roof... Only I don't like its area too much. A little too crowded and hardly any privacy that we, the undersigned, deserve. Yours too aristocratic SAM & SAAB LOL
Steve, please consider kindly as a mild warning that if you dare to risk giving but one cred, you will face a major threat of one wild beast swimming like crazy straight to your door. SAAB
Very nice capture my friend.
