This image taken from the wonderful "Glorious" New Brighton promenade at low tide, shows men fishing from a sandbank. In reality they were dots in the distance but my new Nikon P610 has a 60X optical zoom hence this image.

The fishermen look so tiny with the windsails behind.
A great zoom-in on them :) One seems to be a bit lazy - sitting down on the job !

I hope they caught a nice bit of whiting for tea.

Thanks for the BWC entry :)

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Deep sea is where the depth goes well over 100 fathoms Steve :) Nice shot. That camera has a good zoom.

Steve, thanks to the 60X optical zoom of you Nikon P610, I can see that the fisherman in the middle has caught a haddock, lol.

I was just kidding my friend. Being seriously now, I must say that the details are incredible. Perfect entry for the B&W challenge.
