This wonderful looking flower bud is a Nigella damascena or Love-in-a-mist. I always think they look as if they come from outer space (Mrs b thinks they look like baby Triffids)

Fabulous close up and outstanding detail, that's a strange looking plant but really like all the colour and lighting. Brilliant shot
