I realise that this isn't a raven, it's most likely a crow but I couldn't resist the title.
This serendipitous image was taken yesterday at the lovely Eastham Country Park on the banks of The River Mersey.
The title is a quote from Edgar Allan Poe's "The Raven". The Raven is wonderfully brought to life in a Simpsons "Treehouse of Horror" episode that is well worth watching.

This is one of nature's lovely sculptures Steve - that tree stump with the vines is stunning. We will pretend it is a raven as they are so much more romantic than crows. Great one for the challenge.
